The Honorable Kasit Piromya was Foreign Minister of Thailand from 2008 to 2011 under Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva. Throughout his distinguished career in the foreign service, Hon. Kasit has served as Thailand’s ambassador to the United States, the former Soviet Union, Mongolia, Indonesia, Germany and Japan. He received his undergraduate degree in International Affairs from Georgetown University in the U.S., followed by graduate studies in the Netherlands.
